Twin Trip

This project used Unreal engine to create an interactive game. The player took on the role of a parent of a pair of twin characters within the game, controlling them as they searched for an exit within the forest maze of “the Land of Life”. What happens as you control them on their quest to find the path of life?

Overload: The Paralysis of Pressure

In this project, I created an interactive installation inspired by stress: I have a full schedule, and I made a visualization of my schedule for the week. I also created and edited a video of my schedule and used TD to create pressure cascading video effects for the video. I connected a visual schedule with pressure sensors. When I placed various sticker notes with events written on them on the schedule, the connected video would switch to different effects. The more sticker notes there were, the more distorted the video effects would become, which would trigger people to think and reflect on life.

Beyond Sight

I made a project on Aphntasia theme. I first connected the text-to-image generator from Open AI to TouchDesigner, and then linked the image to an effect that makes the image dissolve like gouache, simulating the experience of people with heart blindness being unable to form images in their minds, or forming very blurry images. Then I designed a website demo for the public to participate in this function.

The Memory Police

The Memory Police is an immersive AR novel game  adapted from Yōko Ogawa's novel The Memory Police. Players enter the portal to the novel world in the first person, trigger the plot of the novel while exploring the scene, and can choose the options brought about by the story to lead to different plots and endings according to their wishes.

Sustainable Transportation

This project combines a promotional animation created with After Effects and a Processing-based mini-game to raise awareness about sustainable transportation. The mini-game allows players to choose different modes of transportation and observe the carbon emissions associated with each choice. By addressing the environmental, public health, and economic challenges posed by traditional transportation methods, the project emphasizes the benefits of sustainable options such as cycling, walking, public transport, and electric vehicles.
